Chasing the Eclipse

'Chasing the Eclipse' was created by Chantry Dance in partnership with Rosa Productions for the Gravity Fields Festival in 2014.

The show is an outdoor dance spectacular which looks at the properties of light in a narrative form. It is an original story conceived by Chantry Dance and Rosa Productions which tells of the impossible love between Lumen the son of light, and Scura the daughter of darkness. They can only be together when light and darkness meet...the time of the Eclipse.

Choreography: Paul Chantry
Concept: Rae Piper
Lighting and Projections: Joe Stathers-Tracey
