Singing Day is an abstract solo set to music by Philip Glass. The solo is not concerned with beginnings or endings, but in a thing less defined, less delineated and more true to life.
The solo was created through the choreographer's own physical response to the stimulus of the music, and from there was personalised by the dancer.
The audience is invited to form their own interpretation of the piece - it is designed to be entirely subjective.
Choreography: Paul Chantry
Dance Director: Gail Gordon
Lighting design: Owain Davies
